Glaslyn Marine, operating from the harbour side in Porthmadog, North Wales, was established in 1980. Primarily a chandlery in the eighties, catering for Cardigan Bay Yachtsmen, Glaslyn entered the Inflatable market in 1986 building a local customer base with a reputation for good service.

Through increased sales and product awareness the company was asked to be on the Avon-Dealer advisory panel and quickly became the first Premier AVON Dealership in Wales, participating on the Avon stand at both the London and Southampton International Boat Shows. We now also exhibit at the Birmingham Leisure Show, having had Avon and Lifesaving products on show for the past fifteen years.

With the sale of RIB packages increasing annually, the company has been rewarded by being appointed one of ten RIB centres for the UK. This accolade is only issued to those with a proven record of quality fitout. 2006 has seen a huge increase in Commercials.

We have servicing facilities for Inflatables - Rib's up to 7 metres and liferafts. We can also supply most brands of Raft and Safety equipment at very competitive rates and ship to anywhere in the world.

For 2007/8 we are pleased to announce that we will also be supplying the Bombard range as well as the prestige brand Liferaft AUTOFLUG, both of which are marketed alongside the complete Avon range.

We take pride in providing after-sales, no matter where you are. Our international sales now account for 40% of our business. Last year we have delivered to Tonga, Whitsunday Islands, Kenya, Grenada as well as Europe, North America and the Far East.
